The Tagger has an autosave feature that continuously saves your work while the application is open. In the event of a power failure or similar, where the application has closed without saving to the server, you will be able to retrieve your work and load an automatically saved mapping file.
Please see the steps below for instructions on how to do this:
- Navigate to the chapter that you had opened in the Tagger, hold your cursor over "Tagger Locked" and click "Cancel Tagging and Unlock". Unlock the chapter and open it in the Tagger again.
- In the top menu of the Tagger, click on "Load Mapping File".
- Make sure you arrange the folders in chronological order (and look at the folders with the most recent timestamps). Double click on the correct folder, it will most likely be the second folder from the top (as the top folder is from the session you just opened). Note that the timestamp shown is from when the chapters were opened.
- The autosaved file has "autosaved" in the name, double-click it and the tags from your last session should load. You can then continue working or save your work back to the server.
