How to Convert a Document to a Newer Version of InDesign

You can convert an InDesign document with the steps below. (Check that you have the latest Transfer Manager for Windows or Transfer Manager for Mac and our correct plug-ins.)

    1. Add a new chapter.
    2. Download the InDesign document in the version it was uploaded from.
    3. When the document has opened, select "File" then "Save As" and save the file locally.

    4. Once you have opened the document in the InDesign version you want, you can use the Add Document function under the "CtrlPrint" menu to add it to the chapter you created.
