When using Integrate on a Mac, you may encounter an issue where the thousand separator in numbers appears incorrectly, displaying the character Ê
. This problem is a result of a compatibility bug between InDesign/InCopy and Excel data on Mac systems.
Resolution:
We are actively working to address this issue. While we work on the fix, please follow this workaround mentioned below.
In Excel, create a custom number format to specify the thousand separator you wish to use:
-
For a space separator:
#\ ##0
-
For a comma separator:
#\,##0
-
For a dot separator:
#\.##0
Please note that this issue does not occur when inserting or updating data with Integrate using Windows.
