Adobe will automatically try to update your installed apps to its most recent version and remove older versions. This can cause users to have the incorrect version of InCopy or InDesign and as a result, not be able to download their documents for editing. We recommend you disable this functionality as part of the installation process.
Please note, you need to have the Creative Cloud Desktop App installed as you can only change the Preferences for Auto-update settings in the Creative Cloud Desktop App. You can install this by clicking Download Creative Cloud Desktop App if you have not already done so.
- Once you have the Creative Cloud Desktop App installed, open the Creative Cloud Desktop App and click the Account icon in the top right hand corner, then the option called "Preferences".
- Click on "Apps" from the menu on the left hand side:
- Find InCopy/InDesign in the list of apps. Click "Advanced options" and then untick "Remove older versions":
