Technical Requirements
To make sure your operating system, browser and network settings are correct to use CtrlPrint, see this page.
Step 1 – CtrlPrint Transfer Manager
You will need to install the CtrlPrint Transfer Manager to access your documents:
Download Transfer Manager for Windows
Download Transfer Manager for Mac
Install CtrlPrint plug-ins for InDesign
If you need to add documents to the system and you are missing the CtrlPrint menu in InDesign, you will need to manually install our plug-ins. (Make sure InDesign is not running when you do this).
Step 2 – Adobe
Creative Cloud
You will need to install Adobe's Creative Cloud app before you can install any Adobe applications.
InCopy/InDesign
Next, install the correct version of InCopy or InDesign for editing your documents.
Please note that you will need a paid subscription before you can download the application.
If you are editing text in the document, please download InCopy. If you are editing the layout in the document, please download InDesign. We recommend using InDesign/InCopy 2024 (v 19.X) for the upcoming season. We support InDesign/InCopy 2024 (v 19) and InDesign/InCopy 2023 (v 18).
Please note that support for InDesign/InCopy 2023 (v 18) will end in October 2024.

Not sure which version to install?
Please contact your agency for confirmation. You will not be able to open documents if the wrong version of InCopy/InDesign is installed.
Configure Adobe's auto-update settings
To ensure that Adobe does not update your version of InCopy/InDesign to the most recent version (i.e. a version that will prevent users being able to download their documents for editing), please manually disable the auto-update option in Creative Cloud.
Step 3 – Your Agency or Company Administrator
Fonts
CtrlPrint does not supply or deliver fonts to users. Your agency contact is the best person to answer any questions about the specific fonts for your project. For more information about missing fonts in your project, please see this page.
Creating your user accounts and projects
Any questions regarding the administration of your user account and projects on CtrlPrint please direct your enquiry to your Company Administrator.
