Create ESEF Report

To prepare an ESEF Report you must first open each chapter from a project with the CtrlPrint Tagger and save it back to the server. This will create an XHTML version of the chapter which is required for the ESEF report.

Once chapters have an associated XHTML version you can merge them by using the Create ESEF Report button in the chapter list. (After selecting a project.)

In the Tags up-to-date column you will see the status of each chapter:

Tags up-to-date status Meaning
Yes An XHTML version has been created from the latest chapter version.
No An XHTML has been created from an earlier version of the chapter. You can still use this document for an ESEF report but any changes made in the latest chapter version will not be included.
Unavailable

This chapter cannot be merged because no XHTML version has been created for it.

To include this chapter it needs to be opened and then saved with the XBRL Tagger.

Unavailable (No InDesign document uploaded)

This chapter cannot be merged because no XHTML version has been created for it.

To include this chapter an InDesign user must save a new chapter version (download the latest version then save it back to the server) and then a user will need to open that version in the XBRL Tagger and save it.

Select which chapters you would like to include in the ESEF report and click Create.

Please be aware that merging multiple chapters can take several minutes.
